Read here on how to install the Add-On.

  1. Log into your JIRA server instance as an admin.
  2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons.The Manage add-ons screen loads.
  3. Click Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
  4. Locate Workflow Essential for JIRA via search.Results include add-on versions compatible with your JIRA instance.
  5. Click Install to download and install your add-on.
  6. You're all set!Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.

If you edit your workflows now you will find the new validators and post-functions from Workflow Essential plugin.


Uninstall

To uninstall the Plugin, go to "Manage Add-Ons" and choose "Uninstall".

  • Important: JIRA will not remove any workflow functions automatically, therefore make sure to remove any workflow functions used from the WES plugin. 
    (This can result in a "Could not load FunctionProvider class" Error)
